Dr. Rogers was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She then moved away to attend the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation with the Class of 2008, she came to Texas to start practicing vet medicine, and has been proudly serving in the community ever since.
Dr. Rogers spent her first 3 years as both a small and large animal practitioner. She has spent extensive time working with the Houston Humane Society and DFW metroplex hospitals to gain surgical experience. She has performed between 2 and 3 thousand soft tissue surgeries to date.
She also enjoys the challenges of diagnosing and treating severe illnesses and injuries, and has a soft spot for internal medicine cases. Some of her most recent practice experience has been gained working at an ER hospital in Dallas.
She is the proud parent of one furry child. ‘Scarlett’ is a sometimes rowdy 9 year old cocker spaniel that loves to chase bunnies! Dr. Rogers and Scarlett have proudly been living in Red Oak since 2012. They look forward to serving the growing community for years to come.
Dr. Rogers feels that she has been called to this profession, and strives every day to make a positive difference in the lives of her patients. She enjoys sharing information with pet parents so that a collaborative effort can be made to help prevent many illnesses and injuries. Her focus is preventative care. Please feel free to ask her questions at any time. Her goal is to help keep your pet healthy and happy, and by your side (or in your lap) for many years to come!
